The URSA Live Encoder is designed for live immersive production environments, allowing the URSA Cine Immersive 100G camera to transform into a powerful live broadcasting tool. Instead of using external encoders, this compact module inserts directly into the camera’s media module slot and compresses live immersive video into ProRes for real-time IP output. Compresses live video to Apple ProRes, producing broadcast-quality streams suitable for SMPTE-2110-22 IP video workflows, supports single-cable IP delivery, enabling clean, low-latency video transmission ideal for modern IP-based broadcast infrastructures. Handles up to two camera feeds simultaneously under 50 Gb/s per camera, efficiently combining them into one 100G Ethernet connection. Optimized for stereo, high-frame-rate immersive video, including Apple Immersive Video, ensuring high-quality stereoscopic or 3D live output.
