Description

The PXW-Z300 uses three 1/2-inch back-illuminated 4K Exmor R CMOS sensors in conjunction with the BIONZ XR image processor, delivering detailed 4K60p images with excellent color reproduction, wide dynamic range, and low noise. The 17x optical zoom lens (30.3–515 mm, 35 mm equivalent) with constant f/1.9 aperture covers wide-angle to telephoto ranges, and a digital extender increases magnification up to 1.5x in 4K and 4x in HD. Built-in optical image stabilization (OIS) minimizes motion blur for handheld shooting. The auto-framing function automatically maintains subjects in the frame, while the camera allows intuitive switching between autofocus and full manual focus via the sliding focus ring.
