Description

HyperDeck Extreme Control includes an onboard editor that automates deck-to-deck editing between a legacy broadcast deck and a HyperDeck recorder. Users set in and out points on the player deck, then press record and edit on the recorder, enabling automated cueing, playback, and recording without manual intervention, optimizing legacy videotape digitization workflows. The device offers familiar transport controls (play, stop, record, rewind, fast forward) and supports deck control for up to 8 devices simultaneously via standard RS-422 interfaces. It works not only with HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR models but also legacy broadcast tape decks like Betacam SP, Digital Betacam, and 1-inch machines, ensuring wide compatibility.
